Curriculum Vitae
Originally from New Orleans, I majored in history as an undergraduate at Yale and completed my JD at NYU Law. In between, I spent two years in Paris, where I researched post-war feminism and reproductive rights as a Fox Fellow at Sciences Po.
My teaching experience is vast and varied. From tutoring my peers in French at the Yale Center for Language Studies to leading legal research seminars for inmates serving life sentences in maximum security prisons, I’ve worked with a wide range of learning profiles and personalities.
I taught in person with the top tutoring companies in New York for nearly a decade before moving my practice online so that I could travel and work as a touring musician. I am happiest when teaching and composing music, and I feel there is nothing more instructive than one’s own creative instincts.
I specialize in test prep (ACT/SAT, LSAT, GMAT) and college essay support, but I regularly tutor other subjects and work with a network of professional tutors that I am always happy to recommend.
